Let’s take a look at how my curious little mind works.

My wife laughingly, often tells people…. “If only his mind could be harnessed for good.”

Even as I sit here and write this intro, I look up and see a fly on the wall. This leads me to ask why people say “I’d love to be a fly on the wall”. I started Googling the origins (BTW. It came from the Oakland Tribune in February 1921). That leads me to ask… Oh yeah, back to the intro.

I've always been fascinated by the stories behind small businesses and solopreneurs. How can a one-person operation or a small team become a brand that not only catches people's attention but also engages them? This is the question I constantly delve into at Breakpoint Communications.

A fledgling national sports non-profit organization experiencing explosive growth brought us on board to develop a brand and create strategic partnerships that led to generating much-needed revenue streams and membership increases even in a pandemic.

BRAND EXTENSIONS

We’ve worked with a retail chain that was based in smaller towns to open its first location in a large urban market. The challenge was to maintain the small-town “feel” while meeting the demands of the urban cohorts. Through a series of strategic activations, a consistent social media strategy and a brand update the 2.0 version has become a success allowing for future urban growth.
